Colloidal silver is an excellent natural remedy for a variety of lung problems including bronchitis, lung infections and COPD. While colloidal silver can be used orally to treat some lung problems, delivering the colloidal silver directly to the lungs is the optimum way to treat most lung issues.

An electronic nebuliser, the type that is commonly prescribed by medical professionals for asthmatics and those with chronic lung problems, can be used to deliver colloidal silver to the lungs. It is used successfully by many to treat bronchitis and lung infections.

5-15 ml of colloidal silver is added to the reservoir and nebulised every few hours during the day. A small portable nebuliser is all that is needed. Take 5 ml of Ionic Liquid Minerals straight from the bottle and mix with 150 ml colloidal silver.
Add 5-15 ml of the mixture to the nebuliser's reservoir each day
Nebulise every few hours during the day

Nebulising this mixture is more beneficial than just using colloidal silver. Mineral salts on their own have proved beneficial in relieving asthma and bronchitis. It is also very gentle on the lungs as is does not disturb the balance of natural salts in the lining of the lungs as nebulising water would.

Research suggests that the three most important, identifiable, components for immune system integrity are Vitamin D, Iodine and Vitamin C. Vitamin D

It has also been found that vitamin D cannot act properly without iodine in the body.

Iodine

Iodine can be obtained by supplementation via two routes. Lugol's Iodine Solution or Seagreens. It is the most soluble of minerals when combined with a mineral such as potassium and therefore tends to drain to the sea quickly and is concentrated many times in Seagreens (Seaweed). The great additional benefit of taking Iodine in Seagreens is the considerable concentration of other essential minerals taken in. Seagreens contain the highest percentage of minerals and trace elements, by weight, of any food. They also contain many other valuable nutrients to harmonise and detoxify the body. Especially beneficial is their high polysaccharide content. Most Seagreens commercially available have been heated to very high temperatures during the production process (Such as Kelp tablets) which is very detrimental, rendering them almost useless from a broad spectrum point of view. Our Seagreens are high quality, low temperature dried and organically certified. Iodine appears in this section on boosting the immune system and also in the second part regarding specific anti infection remedies. We suggest the best route in the long term, for boosting the immune system is the regular consumption of Seagreens, whereas Lugol's Iodine is recommended as a specific anti-infection agent (amongst other things). However, this is not essential. Lugol's Iodine can be used in this stage of the protocol as a more economical alternative to Seagreens, but it is strictly an Iodine supplement and does not have the associated minerals, trace elements and other beneficial nutrients of Seagreens, as discussed above. Vitamin C

Of all the vitamins, Vitamin C has had the longest and most detailed history of research. Ironically, the original form of Vitamin C, Sodium Ascorbate, identified by Linus Pauling has latterly been described as a liver metabolite rather than a vitamin as such. Semantics aside, the need for Vitamin C supplementation has been clearly established over the years by a vast body of research. The main aspect of the Vitamin C story is the discovery that most animals produce large amounts, and this amount increases dramatically during infection or stress, up to 100 grams (100,000mg) daily in mammals of a similar weight to humans. According to the research, apes and humans have a genetic defect that means they are not able to produce Vitamin C and are consequently prone to difficulties in dealing with infections and stress and are subject to cardio-vascular diseases. It has been found that just 1 or 2 grams a day for a developing child can eliminate susceptibility to common childhood infections. The above three subtitles cover the three most important elements of Immune system integrity, however other remedies have a part to play. Most important of these is Zell Immunocomplex.

Iodine

Iodine, in the form of Lugol's Reagent Solution, has been in use for over one hundred years. It's use is well know in conventional medicine today as an external anti-septic. But the truth about its usefulness when administered internally, at amounts sufficient to kill germs and harmful micro-organisms of all types, has been suppressed. Iodine used internally has supportive roles for the human physiology that are second to none. So it's use as an anti-septic is complimented by it's many health enhancing properties. Every cell in the body uses Iodine. Primarily, Iodine is crucial to the thyroid gland; it not only regulates the thyroid to guard against over and under activity, it serves as a kind of disinfectant route. A large amount of blood passes through the thyroid, an is thereby cleansed of harmful micro-organisms on the way.

Iodine is a deadly enemy of single cell micro-organisms. When life first started to evolve as single cell organisms, Iodine was not part of their make up. It was only later, after Iodine had become concentrated in Seaweed, that it was incorporated into the more complex, higher life forms. It is for this reason that the simplest level of life, the micro-organism, cannot tolerate iodine. Iodine kills single celled organisms by penetrating the cell wall and combining with the amino acids tyrosine or histidine. All single cells showing tyrosine on their outer cell membranes are killed instantly by a simple chemical reaction with Iodine that denatures proteins. Nature and evolution have given us an important mechanism to control pathogenic life forms and we should use it and trust it to protect us in ways that antibiotics can not. Colloidal Silver

Colloidal Silver is one of the oldest remedies in the world and can be traced as far back as the ancient Greek and Roman Empires. It is a non-toxic, non-addictive infection fighter free of side effects. Colloidal Silver is thought to kill an average of 650 different organisms, compared to the 6 of a standard antibiotic. It is safe for adults, children, animals and pregnant and nursing women. It can be applied topically and used internally and has no reaction with other medications. In the early part of this century Colloidal Silver was used as a mainstream therapy until modern antibiotics came along. Who is Using Colloidal Silver?

In Canada, Switzerland and the US, physicians use various forms of silver to treat a multitude of infections. In the US, silver is used in bone surgery and in 70% of US burns centres. Medical journal reports and studies have indicated no known side effects from use of Colloidal Silver. Nadine Wooley a greatly improved M.S patient, drank more than one pint a day of Colloidal Silver for over 4 years. Olive Leaf Extract

Vitalyza 3 (Elemental Silicon)

Helps to provide more cellular energy. Most of the body's energy is produced at cell level by ATP synthesis. This requires oxygen, oxygen facilitating enzymes, B vitamins and other nutrients. These can be supplied by Zell Immunocomplex. A source of free electrons also helps cellular energy production and oxygen conservation, as supplied by Vitalyza 3

The free electrons in Vitalyza 3 react with un-burnt hydrogen in the body acting as a cleanser. As a side-effect, more oxygen is made available. This effect is quite marked,. Comparing Vitalyza 3 with Colloidal Silver

It is fascinating to note the similarities of action between Colloidal Silver and Elemental Silicon. In his book, Cross Currents, Robert O.Becker M.D, a pioneer in research concerning the role and nature of electricity in the body, states that semi-conductors are present in the body. Vitalyza 3 is a semi-conductor and plays an important role in electron transport, and therefore healing & regeneration in the body.

He further discusses the role of the negative charge as being the initiator of cellular regeneration. This research is sometimes quoted to explain why the use of Colloidal Silver helps cell regeneration and has even been found to promote the production of de-differentiated cells that will then transform into the appropriate cells needed to heal a wound. The speeding of healing where it may not have occurred is well documented in the use of Colloidal Silver. There have been similar effects reported with Elemental Silicon (with photographic records.)

There are differences between Colloidal Silver and Elemental Silicon. We know that Elemental Silicon has the nutritional benefit of silicon, an essential element that becomes increasingly deficient as we age and helps to strengthen collagen throughout the body and also helps to detoxify the body. So Elemental Silicon aids detoxification, energy production, oxygenation and alkalization. None of these properties are provided by Colloidal Silver which works via a positively charged silver ion. Possibly the positively charged silver ion then pulls electrons (negatively charged particles) from surrounding tissue or extra-cellular fluid (positive attracts negative) to make available electrons to produce similar anti-microbial and healing effects to Elemental Silicon.

Colloidal Silver is calming, and also has an almost immediate anti-allergy effect. Colloidal Silver has also been found to calm over-active immune systems, and is useful as part of the auto-immune protocol. On the other hand Elemental Silicon is experienced as energising. If persons take both Elemental Silicon and Colloidal Silver we advise them to take them a few hours apart. Never mix the two, as it will weaken the action of both. We know that if we add Vitalyza 3 drops to Colloidal Silver the silver comes out of colloidal suspension and forms a precipitate, which renders the Colloidal Silver ineffective.

We suggest that Colloidal Silver can be used as a more gentle therapy for persons who wish to proceed slowly, to promote elimination of pathogenic micro-organisms and promote healing, then later move on to the more fundamental way to restore long term health.
